Jacqueline A. Anderson
I was born and raised in England before coming to the United States during my high school years. After graduating from high school in Florida, I spent three years working for the Office of the Sheriff in Jacksonville, Florida. I then made my way west to California where I attended San Francisco State University, graduating with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science. I then attended Santa Clara University School of Law, graduating with the degree of Juris Doctor on May 19, 1990.
Upon graduation from law school, I worked as an associate attorney in San Jose for three years before establishing Jacqueline A. Anderson, A Law Corporation, in 1994. Since its establishment, this office has been dedicated to the practice of family law, representing parents and children in numerous court actions. I have been an active participant in the Santa Clara County Bar Association. I chaired the Child Representation Subcommittee of the Family Law Executive Committee from January 1998 through December 1999. I am a current member of several committees, including the Family Law Executive Committee, the Child Representation Subcommittee, the Family Court Liaison Committee, and the Rainbow Committee. I am also a member of the National Association of Counsel for Children, an association of attorneys and mental health professionals dedicated to making the legal system work to protect the interest of children in family and juvenile courts. Additionally, I make presentations to schools on behalf of the Safe Schools Coalition as part of their commitment to keeping schools safe for all children.
As if working with children on a daily basis in my professional life was not enough, I enjoy coaching middle school girl's basketball. I am also an ardent supporter of the Stanford women's basketball program and a member of their booster club.
